Hambantota has demonstrated that Sri Lanka can host international weddings at significant scale. A large resort celebration still succeeds one service appointment at a time, with the beauty operation planned as carefully as transport, rooms and event production.
Start with scale that can be measured
Sri Lanka Tourism reported an international destination wedding for more than 800 guests at Shangri-La Hambantota in March 2026. That shows the destination can host a major gathering; it does not mean every beauty brief requires a service for every attendee.
