Keratin, smoothing and rebonding are not interchangeable names for one service. They create different finishes and involve different levels of commitment. Your starting texture, previous chemical services and day-to-day routine all matter.
Start with the finish you want
Begin by describing the result you want to see and maintain—not by choosing a treatment name. A stylist can then discuss which available service is most closely aligned with that finish and your current hair condition.
Keratin
A keratin service is generally chosen for a smoother, more manageable finish rather than the most permanently straight result. The approved Salon Nayana price list uses length bands.
Smoothing and rebonding
Smoothing and rebonding alter the hair more strongly. Ask about the expected finish, regrowth, aftercare and what your current hair can reasonably support before proceeding.
